I have practised exclusively in the area of Family Law for over 25 years. I completed my Collaborative Law training while practising as an associate in a Family Law firm in London, Ontario. In August 2003 I relocated to Oshawa, Ontario where I continue to practice Collaborative Family Law as a sole practitioner. I find the practice of Collaborative Family Law to be rewarding in that it allows for flexibility and creativity when crafting solutions for separating families. I have been a member of the Office of the Children’s Lawyer legal panel, representing children in custody and access disputes, since April 2004.  Unfortunately, not all cases can be resolved through  negotiation.  When there is no other path to resolution I will take matters to court.  In December 2010, I was appointed as a Dispute Resolution Officer in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, Family Court in Oshawa. I have extensive experience in the Ontario Superior  Court of Justice, Family Court Branch.  As a Dispute Resolution Officer I preside over case conferences in the Family Court. This role has provided me with unique  insights into how to persuasively frame a case in order to achieve a  desired result.

 When outside the office Christine enjoys walking her two dogs Oscar and  Felix, reading and travel both internationally and to Prince Edward  Island where she was born and raised.  

Ana takes the time to listen to clients’ concerns and makes every effort to address those concerns. Ana graduated from the Durham College Legal Administration Program in 1989. After graduating from Durham College, Ana began working with a law firm in Oshawa and spent most of her career working at that firm. Ana joined Christine as her legal assistant in October 2015. 

Ana has a professional and caring attitude with clients and takes pride in her work. She thoroughly enjoys her job and looks forward to assisting you when you call the office.

Ana has lived in Oshawa for most of her life. When she’s not at the office she is spending time with her family.
